A new year so, that means a blank slate for Netflix! Not to worry, all your favorite shows will be returning, for the most part (Sorry Daredevil fans) and a new year means brand new seasons. Along with some fan-favorites, this January holds a boat-load of ‘rewatchables’ and classic movies. Without further ado, what is coming to Netflix in January 2019:
Netflix Originals of The Month:
Punisher
Frank Castle is back as the Punisher of Hell’s Kitchen. While the date is unknown, the Marvel/Netflix collaboration featuring Jon Berthal will return in January for its 2nd season.
A Series Of Unfortunate Events – Season 3
A Series Of Unfortunate Events is finally coming to a close – but not before ruining 2019. Watch sworn enemies Lemony Snicket and Count Olaf deliver a Very Fateful Date for ASOUE season 3. We will finally get to see what happens to the Baudelaire orphans and their fortune. Neil Patrick Harris has done an immaculate job at playing the manic character of Count Olaf and it’s helped this series become one of the best Netflix shows right now. Catch the third and final season, bright and early, on January 1st.
Friends From College – Season 2
Without discrediting it, Friends from College was one of those shows you caught yourself watching and said ‘Why am I watching this?’ Then you were subtly reminded by the awkward humor and horribly funny situations the characters go through. The friends are coming back for season 2. What could go wrong? Streaming January 11, only on Netflix.
