Earlier this year, Netflix made the decision to cut down one of its most promising dramas, The Society, after one season. Just a few months later, it appears that it has made the same tragic decision with yet another promising teen drama, Grand Army. Earlier today, Netflix formally announced that the show would not return for a second season.
Set in a prestigious New York high school, the show told the individual stories of bright young students struggling with their mental health, family life, academics and much more. Along the way, viewers are introduced to a talented young cast that includes Odessa A’zion, Odley Jean, Amalia Yoo, Maliq Johnson, Alphonso Romero Jones II and Siddhartha Pakam.
Fans of the developing drama were not entirely pleased with his news. As usual, several viewers took to social media to express their frustrations.
