
Netflix has announced that they will renew Bridgerton for a second season. Initial reports suggest that the new season will focus on Anthony Bridgerton, played by Jonathan Bailey, as the central character. News of the renewal was shared by the series’ most mysterious character, Lady Whistledown.
“The ton are abuzz with the latest gossip, and so it is my honor to impart to you: Bridgerton shall officially return for a second season. I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion. The incomparable cast of Bridgerton will return to production in the Spring of 2021,” Lady Whistledown wrote.

The second season will also feature Phoebe Dynevor, Regé-Jean Page, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Newton and Claudia Jessie. It is unclear when the new season will debut.
