Netflix has officially announced that March 15th, Part 2 of Season 5 for Arrested Development will release on the streaming platform. After the show originally aired in 2003, Fox cancelled it (despite efforts of fans) after just 3 seasons. Netflix revived it for 1 more season but it was received by mixed reviews by fans. Just over a year ago, to the excitement of those same fans, the streaming service announced a 5th season to be released in 2 parts.
The first part was released in 2018 with open arms and now, Netflix has announced the release date for its 2nd part which will continue with the illustrious cast of Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor, and Jessica Walter.
Without ruining too much of the 5th season, the family gets back together in the most ‘Arrested Development’ way possible, via a TV show. To watch it all unfold, tune in to Netflix on March 15th.
