Let’s just get it out of the way, once and for all: Philadelphia 76ers center Nerlens Noel is playing on a team he has absolutely no interest in playing for anymore.
Noel likes Philadelphia, and isn’t known to have any serious problems with the team or coaching staff, but simply recognizes what we all recognize: Three young, talented centers on one team will not work.
Noel has publicly stated this before, explaining to the media that the Sixers’ current situation “doesn’t makes any sense” at the start of the season.
After last night’s game against the Lakers, Noel once again reiterated his thoughts about the team:
“I don’t care who I’m with. I’m not an eight-minute player, so I don’t know what that’s about,” Noel said. “I don’t really care where, but I need to be on the court playing basketball. I think I’m too good to be playing eight minutes, like, nah. That’s crazy. That’s crazy. (We) need to figure this sh*t out. F*ck it.”
Nerlens Noel needs to be traded to the Raptors like yesterday.https://t.co/Y75ZGUAKQG

Noel, the No. 6 back in 2013, has plenty of talent and potential: That much is known. However, while it’s hard to blame him for acting like this, releasing public tirades against your franchise like this certainly won’t sit well with opposing GM’s who you hope will trade for you.
Noel, 22, has missed most of this season due to injury. Finally back and healthy, he hopes the Sixers figure out their current three-centers strategy sooner rather than later.
