Following a solid collegiate career at USC, Nelson Agholor has had an extremely up and down tenure in the NFL. Agholor has struggled with drops throughout his career, especially in this past season, but he was also one of Philly’s leading receivers in 2017 and 2018.
What made Agholor an enticing free agent was his relatively young age along with cheap pricetag and versatility. Agholor has experience lining up both in the slot and out wide and should help bring a different dynamic to Oakland’s run-heavy offense.
The Raiders already have their WR1 in Tyrell Williams and an incredibly talented tight end on their roster after Darren Waller exploded last season. Agholor will look to shore up the weapon’s arsenal as quarterback Derek Carr heads into a make or break 2020 campaign.
