Just days ago, we saw the Golden State Warriors take down the Washington Wizards in a hard fought 120-117 comeback victory. The game featured a little bit of everything but it was the physical altercation in the second quarter that stole the show.
The fight involved Wizards guard Bradley Beal and Warriors forward Draymond Green but escalated to the point where numerous others were involved. It wouldn’t have been a surprise to see extra discipline be handed down from the league office and that action was taken on Sunday.

Markieff Morris and Carrick Felix were subject to suspensions due to their role in the escalation of the skirmish and for leaving the designated bench area, an act that warrants an automatic suspension.
The two focal points were the least likeliest to get suspended but they were still hit with pretty hefty fines, Beal obviously charged more for instigating. The most surprising repercussion may be the punishment Kelly Oubre Jr. will have to face: only a $15,000 fine.
Oubre was the only player seen throwing punches and has a past history with the league. Taking that into consideration, that would usually warrant a harsher penalty but the office didn’t find Oubre’s actions to be a suspend-able offense.
