Everybody was in shock as the Golden State Warriors came back in overtime to beat the New Orleans Pelicans after a 20 point deficit. THe main cause of that, was the soon-to-be MVP, Stephen Curry. He made an incredible shot, which tied the game to go to overtime.
According to John Ried of NOLA.com:
The NBA said a foul should have been called during Stephen Curry’s 3-pointer with 2.8 seconds remaining in regulation that sent Game 3 to overtime Thursday night at the Smoothie King Center.
The Warriors ended up beating the Pelicans 123-119. They became 3-0 in the series, which is basically as good as done in terms of an NBA series.
Steve Kerr also commentated on the officiating:
”It is an incredible difficult game to officiate, there’s going to be mistakes both ways every game,” Golden State coach Steve Keerr said after Saturday’s shootaround at the Smoothie King Center. ”The fact that they are being transparent is good, but it doesn’t really matter.”
Curry and the Golden State Warriors are hoping to sweep the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.
