Russell Westbrook will be allowed to play in tonight’s all important Oklahoma City Thunder game against the Portland Trail Blazers as the Thunder fight for their playoff lives.
A technical foul he was given in last night’s game against the Indiana Pacers has been rescinded.
Following from the NBA official twitter account.
RT:@NBAPR: NBA has rescinded OKC’s R. Westbrook’s technical assessed on April 12 at 5:57 of 4th qtr.

And from Anthony V Slater of Newsok.com.
Russell Westbrook has now had two technicals rescinded in the past month. Living on the edge, but avoids suspension.

In the video of Russell getting his tehnical, you can clearly see Westbrook understand the severity of the issue. He knows that for a few weeks, he’s been teetering on a suspension which would mean only bad news for OKC.
For at least the last 2 games of the regular season, the always emotional and passionate Westbrook will be able to keep his team alive in the playoff picture. Somehow the Thunder will be able to fight for another day and sneak into the playoffs and they’ll have to face off with the Golden State Warriors. Best of luck to OKC.
