The same day after postponing both the Knicks and Nets home game’s for Monday night, the NBA has rescheduled the Kings at Knicks and Blazers at Nets games.
The NBA released a statement that said:
The National Basketball Association games scheduled for this evening in the New York area have been postponed due to the expected severe weather conditions. The Sacramento Kings at New York Knicks game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m. at Madison Square Garden. The Portland Trail Blazers at Brooklyn Nets game has been rescheduled for Monday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at Barclays Center.
The Knicks will now have an extra back-to-back in March, as they host the Kings on March 3rd and will travel to Indiana to face the Pacers the very next night.
The Nets aren’t effected really, as they’ll play April 4th in Atlanta against the Hawks, then host the Kings two days later, before hosting the Hawks on April 8th.
For Portland, they’ll host the Pelicans on April 4th, before flying to New York to face the Nets two days later, just to fly back home and host the Timberwolves two days after the Nets game on April 8th.
The Kings, on the other hand, will have a rough April, having to play in nine different cities in a 14 day stretch, which includes flying from coast-to-coast.
The Kings will host Portland on March 1st, then fly to New York to play the Knicks two days later on the 3rd. The Next night, the Kings have a game in San Antonio, just to fly back to the east coast to visit the Magic and Heat on March 6th and 7th. The Kings will then go back up the east coast to visit the Hawks on the 9th, the Hornets on the 11th, the 76ers on the 13th, and the Wizards on the 14th.
The Kings will then return home to play the Hawks on the 16th, ending their crazy travel schedule in which they should pick up a couple of frequent flyer miles.
