
Danish NBA prospect Rasmus Larsen, who played for Spirou Charleroi in Belgium passed away on at his home Wednesday.
The 20 year-old forward, who didn’t declare for the draft this year, was ranked as the seventh best international prospect born in 1994 by draftexpress. Larsen was expected to be a top pick in the 2016 NBA Draft when he became automatically eligible.
Larsen was discovered by a Belgium’s Spirou Charleroi team official after concerns grew when Larsen didn’t show up for a team meeting. It is still unknown what caused Larsen’s death.

Larsen averaged 5.3 points and 2.6 rebounds in 12 minutes per game this season with Spirou Charleroi, his first with the club
