This was a good day for certain individuals I’ll tell you who… Right now.
Brooklyn Nets 111 Washington Wizards 106 Good first game for the Nets (Well it was overtime but still…) and for KG as he racks up 7 rebounds. Other good game include Evans (7 rebounds) and Taylor with 17 points and 6 assists. On the other side of the ball nene had a game high 19 points and Jan Vasely was a beast with 12 rebounds.
Milwaukee Bucks 87 Cleveland Cavaliers 99 This is one of those games where the stats don’t give this game justice. Stephen Graham had the best game with 15 points. With Cleveland on the other hand I don’t know who to give the best player. Varejao and Bennett had 10 rebounds! Don’t see that every day. Thompson had the game high in points with 17.
Atlanta Hawks 87 Charlotte Bobcats 85 Breakout game for Mike Scott with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Ramon Sessions nearly equaled that with 17 points and 6 assists.
Maccabi 69 Detroit Pistons 91 Who is Devin Smith? I’ve looked at his box score twice and twice they have been monster numbers. 12 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. A triple double in a losing effort. But Detroit are too powerful. Drummond with a game high 17 points and 9 rebounds.
Golden State Warriors 78 Utah Jazz 101 By the score line it looks like it wasn’t close, and it wasn’t. Only Speights (13 points, 6 rebounds) and Bogut (10 rebounds) managed to get a respectable box score but everyone else were non existent. Utah on the other hand, everyone was getting stuck in. Favors (10 points, 14 rebounds) and Evans (12 points, 13 rebounds) were on a tear.
Denver Nuggets 88 Los Angeles Lakers 90 I said they had a rematch and so did LA by the look of it as they get the win. Hill got things done, 8 points and 12 rebounds was the X factor in this game. But Denver put up a physical fight as they always do, Faried (10), McGee (7) and Hickson (10) dominated the boards and put up points as well. But the Lakers pulled it off. Hat off to em.
Good night of basketball, 6 games tonight to continue an interesting NBA Preseason.
