I’m not really high on weekly awards. I mean if you’re going to do it for players, why not do it for coaches and Rookies?
If you’re gonna do it at least be thorough.
Anyways, mini rant over lets start with the Players of the week. For the Western Conference we have Houston guard James Harden who has been kicking it up a gear since the All Star break. Only 3 points shy of his career-high with 43. He was also 1 assist shy of his career high with 12 on Saturday. He also averaged 27 PPG and 7.7 APG during the week.
And for the East we have the literal Wizard that is John Wall. Tied his career-high in assists Saturday (16 Asts) and over the past 3 games, he avg. 25.0 PPG, 10.7 APG on 59.2% FG and 44.4% 3PT.
And for the coaches we have Erik Spoelstra and Kevin McHale.
With the Heat being perfect since the break its no surprise he’s coach of the month of February, and maybe LeBron’s crazy month might be an accomplice.
And for the West, the Rockets sweep the West as Kevin McHale wins coach of the month as the Rockets go 8-2 for February and are picking up steam towards the Playoffs.
