Obviously, a large portion of NBA players today fall in the African American demographic so Martin Luther King Jr. Days truly is one of the most significant NBA days of the year. The Lakers and Grizz are set to square off in one of the marquee matchups of the day.
With NBA stars continuing to become more and more vocal towards arising social issues, this donation is further proof of the dedication the league has towards matters such as civil rights. With a large donation in order for the National Civil Rights Museum, this is an honorable act by all four parties involved.
