The Markieff Morris vs Phoenix Suns saga continues. See Suns? This is what happens when you split the brothers, the one you keep goes on one!
And surely if you’re going to trade off one of em, you’d do the other one some kindness and trade him as well, not hamstring the brother.
But now Markieff is doing a little too much. He recently spoke out, demanding a trade. Problem is that it was public. Which is why, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein, Markieff has been fined $10K by the NBA.
ESPN sources say NBA is fining Suns F Markieff Morris a sum of $10,000 for publicly demanding a trade

The NBA, remember, has been fining players for making trade demands public since the 2005-06 season. “Public” being the key distinction

NBA trade demands made directly to the team by a player or his agent, without a public statement, is NOT a violation of league rules — Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) September 8, 2015
I don’t know why teams do this to players, just let the kid loose. And how does Keef feel about this fine?
Beautiful. He’s deleted that by the way, the wonders of screenshooting.
Look Phoenix. He doesn’t want to play for you anymore, why do nothing? I wouldn’t want a guy on my team that doesn’t want anything to do with the team. That’s a negative attitude in the locker room.
