As we all know the NBA have recently been putting a lot of stock into “sleeved jerseys” ever since the Golden State Warriors tried them out last season and we all loved them. (Well I did…).
But it seems that the sleeves are here to stay (whether you like it or not) according to CSNNW.com…
In the case of the Portland Trail Blazers, their popular white “Rip City” jersey will be converted to a short sleeve fit. The same goes for the Detroit Pistons and their blue “Motor City” jersey.
There’s reluctance by some teams to switch up their look, we’re told. However, this is something the league wants to occur and there’s more teams in favour of the change oppose to the ones that are not, another source said.
I really don’t mind the sleeved jerseys (not the BIG Logo ones… Those made my eyes burn) but imagining teams like the Wizards, the Hornets Purple & Teal next season. Nobody wants that. So give it to teams that would look good in them. If you’re going to force teams to wear them at least make them look nice.
