Another fantastic edition of Game of Zones is here by way of the folks at Bleacher Report, who have been creating these spoofs of HBO’s Emmy-award winning hit show, Game of Thrones.
The last edition was a tribute to Kobe Bryant’s retirement. This one dabbles into some of the NBA’s youth, like the Portland Trail Blazers, represented by Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum, and Mason Plumlee as “The Brotherhood With One Banner”. They encounter the young Timberwolves of Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Zach LaVine. Other glorious segments include a hilarious exchange between Dwight Howard and James Harden, while LeBron James and Kyrie Irving (clearly meant to depict Sir Jorah and Tyrion) traveling to Golden State only to be attacked by Suns.
Some references and context you can only fully appreciate if you’re watching Thrones, but even if you’re not, these just keep getting better.
