Joel Embiid is not one to shy away from clapping back at haters on social media. He’s sent out some of the funniest tweets in recent memory and has gone at everyone from owners to writers and fellow basketball players. But his recent comments about a certain outspoken father has him in some trouble with the NBA.
The Philadelphia 76ers star big man has been fined $10,000 by the NBA for using ‘inappropriate language on social media.’
The following comes from an official NBA press release.

The fine could presumably be about a comment Joel Embiid made on Instagram live just a few days ago.
"Man, fuck LaVar Ball."

The feud between Embiid and the Ball family has been ongoing for the last few weeks after Joel sent out a tweet to his 76ers teammate Ben Simmons on draft night. Embiid simply sent a similar tweet to what Simmons’ sister sent a few months ago about wanting Ben Simmons to dunk on Lonzo Ball so hard his dad has to come out and save him.
