Center Roy Hibbert came back after a one game suspension for getting involved in a pushing match with David Lee of the Warriors and scored 18 points and 2 blocks. Indiana finished the 3rd quarter on a 11- run, led by eight points from David West.
New York Knicks 96, Washington Wizards 88
A 29 point career high for Rookie Bradley Beal wasn’t enough for the Wizards, who trailed by a point with four minutes to go and didn’t make a field goal during that time and lost by eight. Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points for the New York, who have won three straight games. J.R Smith had 13 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.
Houston Rockets 118, Orlando Magic 110
Houston used an 11-0 run in the 4th quarter to grabbed a nine point lead and the victory. James Harden had 11 of his 24 in the 4th, while Patrick Beverley added 10 off the bench. Carlos Delfino and Chandler Parsons had 21 apiece.
Recently acquire from the Bucks, rookie Tobias Harris scored a career high 27 points for Orlando.
Boston Celtics 94, Golden State Warriors 86
Boston dominated from the start and only trailed a couple of minutes at the start of the game. Jeff Green scored 14 of his 18 points in the 2nd half and Paul Pierce had 26 points and 8 rebounds.
Los Angeles Clippers 105, Cleveland Cavaliers 89
Los Angeles opened the fourth on a 21-10 run to get a 23 point lead. Jamal Crawford had 24 points off the bench, and Chris Paul had 15 assists for their 4th straight win. The Cavaliers were again without Kyrie Irving, who has missed the last three contest with a sore knee.
Miami Heat 98, Memphis Grizzlies 91
Lebron James struggled for most of the night, but delivered the most important basket of all. James, who couldn’t find his shot all night, hit a three that put the heat up by four with 24 seconds left. Miami’s winning streak has extended to 13.
Dallas Mavericks 98, Brooklyn Nets 90
Joe Johnson returned to the Nets lineup after missing three games. Brooklyn fell behind by double digits in the fourth quarter before going on a 17-7 run to but the Mavs lead to four, but it wasn’t enough. Dirk Nowtizki led the Mavericks with 20 points and 8 boards.
New Orleans Hornets 100, Detroit Pistons 95
Greivis Vasquez made a floater off the backboard with 12 seconds remaining to give the Hornets a three point lead. Point guard Rodney Stuckey missed a three pointer and Al-Farouq Aminu made two free throws put the game away.
San Antonio Spurs 130, Sacramento Kings 102
San Antonio led from end to end and defeat the Kings for another home win. Manu Ginobili had a career game with 15 assists. Tony Parker left the game in the 3rd quarter due to a sprained left ankle after scoring 13 points and 7 dishing out 7 assists.
Utah Jazz 98, Charlotte Bobcats 68
Enes Kanter had a career night in points and rebounds with 23 and 22, respectively. The Jazz lead grew to as many as 32 in the 2nd half. DeMarre Carroll also had a career high 19 points. Utah played without Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson.
Phoenix Suns 92, Atlanta Hawks 87
Phoenix used a 14-1 run at the end of the first half and start of the second to get the lead. Marcus and Markieff Morris, combined for 27 points. The Hawks winning streak ended at four.
Denver Nuggets 105, Oklahoma City 103
Kevin Durant tied the game with a bank shot. However, point guard Ty Lawson made a jumper over Thabo Sefolosha with o.2 left to give Denver the victory. Wilson Chandler tied his career high with 35 points off the bench, the Nuggets bench outscored OKC’s 71 to 11.
