Miami Heat 86, Chicago Bulls 67
The Heat are playing outstanding basketball these days. So much for a championship hangover.
Chicago held a brief two point lead after forward Taj Gibson dunked the ball in the 2nd quarter, but that was it took for Miami to start dominating. The Heat scored 13 points in a row to go from down two, to getting an 11 point lead.
The Bulls had by far one of their worst performances of the year, committing a season high 17 turnovers in the 1st half alone. Lebron James had 26 Points, 12 Rebounds & 7 assists for the Heat, who have won 9 straight games.
San Antonio Spurs 116, Los Angeles Clippers 90
After losing two games against the Clippers earlier in the season, San Antonio had just enough.
San Antonio never trailed in 48 minutes and put an impressive clinic against “Lob City.” The Spurs ended the first quarter on a 17-4 run that extended their lead to 14. Then they had another run in the third period, 27-12, that saw their lead go by as big as 30.
The game had extended “Garbage time” as the Spurs had the game won by the middle of the 3rd period. Tony Parker led the Spurs to their 5th straight victory with 31 points, 7 assists and zero turnovers.
Los Angeles’ Chris Paul only scored one basket and finished with 4 points and 3 assists, Chancey Billups didn’t even made a shot & Blake Griffin missed 10 of his 17 shot attempts for 17 points.
