- Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 10:30 p.m. on ESPN: Dallas Mavericks @ Phoenix Suns
- Thursday, Oct. 18 at 8:00 p.m. on TNT: Chicago Bulls @ Philadelphia 76ers
- Thursday, Oct. 18 at 10:30 p.m. on TNT: Los Angeles Lakers @ Portland Trail Blazers

Highlights include a 2018 playoffs rematch between Boston and Philly, star rookies facing off in Dallas vs. Phoenix, a clash of superstars in OKC vs. Golden State and a potential first look at Kawhi Leonard as a member of the Raptors against the Celtics and Wizards.
Along with the opening-week schedule, the league also announced the Christmas Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day schedules.
