Nas on a J Dilla Beat for ‘The Season’
Just when you think Nas is taking a break he does something like this. The last time EYE (I) heard from Nasir Jones was when he dropped the freestyle to J Coles,”Let Nas Down”, naming it ‘Made Nas Proud‘.
Prior to that it was his album ‘Life Is Good.’
With the anniversary to his debut album and all that he is doing to celebrate it you had to have some kind of common sense to think he would drop some new ish for the fans. Now don’t get me wrong I am not a big Nas fan but I do understand and respect what he did for the culture, yes I am a Jay Z fan. I mean my favorite joint from Nas is ‘Rewind’ if that counts for something.
Anyways yesterday Mr. Jones drop a preview to this record which is produced by J Dilla, now today we get the full version. So ladies and gents I present ‘The Season’ and by the sound of it It may be a cold winter for rappers if its “Nas Season”
