Nas returns with a touching short film in conjunction to his 12th studio album, NASIR.
On November 15, Nas dropped a 16-minute short film titled NASIR via Mass Appeal, to accompany his self-titled album which dropped this past June.
Directed by Rohan Blair-Mangat, the visual begins with Diddy’s commentary featured on the first track of the album, “Not For Radio,” and is backed by a series of powerful images. Throughout the film, the rapper makes an effort to highlight several social and economic issues including racism and police brutality. Slick Rick also makes an appearance.
