There are few times when an artist is able to take their music from ground zero to the top in less than two years, but Nardo Wick out of Florida is not your ordinary star. After picking up music a few years ago, the Florida native has been able to land a deal with RCA Records and appear on the Judas and the Black Messiah soundtrack. Above all else, he has experience the growing success of his single, “Who Want Smoke.” After amassing more than 20 million views on YouTube, Nardo Wick has linked up with G Herbo, Lil’ Durk, 21 Savage and the folks at Lyrical Lemonade for the “Who Want Smoke” remix video.
If there was a month for the “Who Want Smoke” remix to arrive, it would be October. Produced by EMKAY, the remix has a menacing sound that rivals the music featured in a scary Halloween movie. Capitalizing off of the frightening production, 21 Savage, G Herbo and Lil’ Durk do what they do best — rap.
“They be on my page like, ‘Slide for Von,’ I know they trolling me/Outside with your big homie be on, I keep them folks with me/Got it back in blood, y’all just don’t know, that’s how it ‘posed to be/Call him for a feature just to kill him ’cause we know he sweet,” Lil’ Durk raps.
