Rapper Mystikal released from prison with $3 million bond after spending almost two year behind bars. His costly bond reportedly fundraised by friends, family and a new record deal.
TMZ reports claim Mystikal’s innocence. Arrested in August 2017 on rape charges, Mystikal’s lawyers are confident following trial, he will be a free man.
“It’s been a long time coming for mike, but now he can get back to being the artist he is, doing what he loves and seeing his kids again.” says attorney Tim Yazbeck.
The trial, set for May where Mystikal, born Michael Tyler, faces charges of 1st degree rape and second degree kidnapping.
