Carson, California’s own Reason comes through to drop another video from There You Have It. This one is for the relationship-fueled “Situations.”
The Usher-sampled track touches on the struggles of deciding whether to stay in a relationship or not. The Del Amo representative ends with describing the benefits of having a side chick (“she don’t want nothing from me but deep sex”) while trying to rationalize it (“tell myself it ain’t really cheatin’/we just fuckin'”).
Reason caught my ear when I heard “Summer Up” a few months ago then I saw that he once opened up for Joe Budden and bodied a freestyle for Sway at SXSW. Looks like Reason is on the way to claim a piece of that Cali crown. Check the video for “Situations” below.
