Paw Patrol is now more than the title of an animated children’s movie on Amazon Prime. It’s the title of your new favorite song.
Coming out of Oakland, Michael Sneed is an eclectic artist with a unique voice that makes you feel warm inside. Above all else, he raps very well and he’s managing to get better song after song. All of these things come to play in the rising artist’s newest song and video, “Paw Patrol.”
From Dakota Lim’s use of the fisheye lens to Michael Sneed performing in the backseat of his friend’s car, the “Paw Patrol” video stands out because it’s authentic and freeing. After spending a year inside due to the pandemic and what appears to be another lockdown on the way, it’s refreshing to see someone outside, enjoying life with the people that make life enjoyable and rapping about it.
