Signed to Janelle Monae’s Wondaland Records, as soon as ‘Classic Man’ was taking off in terms of initial popularity, Jidenna could be heard on Janelle Monae’s capitivating, ‘Yoga.’ Making various stops across television and stages across the country, it’s without a doubt that new material from Jidenna is highly anticipated. Serving as a freestyle that he spits during his live shows, Jidenna’s ‘Long Live The Chief’ now receives studio format and is even dressed with a simplistic but entertaining music video. Knowing his worth and declaring his place, ‘Long Live The Chief’ serves as a perfect follow-up just to convey that the gentleman isn’t a one trick pony.
