Charles Hamilton is hip-hop’s nomad. Once known as Sonic and rocking pink headphones, the Brooklyn emcee had reemerged from the wreckage. Seemingly, he looked to be on the right track; he released the Rita Ora-featured song “New York Raining” and “Headed To The Top” with Oddisee. A new deal was worked out with Republic Records, also, a new mixtape was supposedly dropping in August, which has been pushed back and slated for later in 2015.
Through all his circumstances, Hamilton uses them as a springboard to redefine himself through the art of music. Sonic The Hamilton has taking this approach in his latest video, “Down The Line” featuring Laurel.
