On July 16, 2025, GRAMMY Award winner Muni Long will perform at Megan Thee Stallion’s Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala. Hosted by Taraji P. Henson, the gala will also feature sounds from the legendary DJ D Nice. Proceeds from the gala will be used to enhance the foundation’s education, housing, wellness, and community service programs.
Named in honor of Megan Thee Stallion’s father, Joseph Pete Jr., and her mother, Holly Thomas, the Pete & Thomas Foundation “provides resources to effect meaningful and positive change in the lives of women and children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston, [Texas] and across the globe.” Since its launch in 2022, the Pete & Thomas Foundation has offered college scholarships, provided resources for youth sports teams, and assisted seniors in need.
“Launching the Pete and Thomas Foundation is easily one of the most significant endeavors that I’ll ever be part of in my career,” Megan Thee Stallion said when the foundation launched in 2022. “My family raised me to help others and give back, so I’m incredibly proud to be in a position to accomplish that goal. I have a responsibility to use my platform to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who may not have access to resources and support services.”
The gala is set for July 16, 2025, at Gotham Hall in New York, New York. The black-tie event is open to donors and ticketed guests.
