A new trailer for MTV’s Scream: The TV Series has been released.
Like it’s parent movie, the trailer features a beautiful young girl, alone, dumb to the horror that’s coming her way.
However, the show will be much different than the film. For instance, there is no Ghostface, the iconic killer from the previous four films.
There’s also a new setting, as the TV series will take place in Lakewood instead of the familiar Woodsboro, meaning that the Prescott murders and the events of the film series may not be relevant to the new television series.
In this new trailer full of glimpses, we’re introduced to a few characters, like Nina [Bella Thorne], Emma [Willa Fitzgerald], Audrey [Bex Taylor-Klaus], and the neighborhood bad-boy Kieran [Amadeus Serafini].
Scream debuts on MTV on June 30.
