Get ready to turn your clocks back for the final season of Mr. Robot. The USA Network dropped the first full trailer for the show’s upcoming fourth and final season on Wednesday.
Taking place around Christmas in 2015, season 4 of the series sees Rami Malek’s Elliot dealing with the fallout of his globally crippling Five/Nine hack. Series creator Sam Esmail commented on Elliot’s future in the final season while speaking with The Hollywood Reporter.
“The journey between seasons one to three has been about discovering who the real culprits are,” Esmail said. “The hack was merely a distraction that was co-opted by these people, and it’s finally been revealed and exposed to Elliot. In a weird way, the next season will return back to that initial premise of the show and have Elliot be motivated by that, with this new clarity.”

Speaking of the award-winning actor, Malek has been a hot commodity since Bohemian Rhapsody. He’s set to star opposite Daniel Craig in next year’s No Time to Die and he’s also eyeing a role alongside Denzel Washington in the detective drama Little Things.
The final season of Mr. Robot kicks off October 6th on USA.
