Universal Pictures has debuted a new international trailer for Luc Besson’s Lucy, starring Scarlett Johansson.
Writer/director behind La Femme Nikita, The Professional and The Fifth Element, Besson has created some of the most memorable and toughest female action heroes in cinematic history.
This time around, Besson directs Johannson in Lucy, an action-thriller that tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.
The film also stars Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman.
Lucy is scheduled to hit theaters on August 8.
