The first trailer for Jeremy Renner’s Kill the Messenger has surfaced online.
Renner is joined by Michael Sheen, Ray Liotta and Rosemarie DeWitt in the upcoming drama, which tells the true story of investigative journalist Gary Webb.
The film centers the story of Webb who exposed evidence of the CIA’s involvement with the spread of cocaine in Los Angeles.
The film will be directed by Michael Cuesta and will be penned by Peter Landesman.
The film also stars Paz Vega, Michael K. Williams, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Andy Garcia, Tim Blake Nelson, and Oliver Platt.
Kill the Messenger will be released on October 10.
