In an unfortunate timing of events, ‘Jack Ryan’ has debuted its first trailer just one day after Tom Clancy’s death was announced.
The film will follow Jack Ryan through the early years from the Marines to the CIA.
In the wake of Clancy’s death, Paramount chairman Brad Grey released a statement spoke on the late author.
“Tom Clancy was one of the great storytellers of our time and his passing has been deeply felt by all of us at Paramount,” he said. “We are forever indebted to Tom for making this studio his home, and our deepest sympathies go out to his family, and his many fans, at this great loss.”
‘Jack Ryan’ stars Chris Pine and will open on December 26.
