Warner Bros has released a new trailer for If I Stay.
The film – based on the novel by Gayle Forman- stars Chloe Grace Moretz as 17- year old cellist Mia Hall, who is involved in a devastating car crash.
Simply titled ‘Prologue,’ the clip shows Mia struggling with the decision of whether to fight back and wake up from a coma or let go of life and leave her family and boyfriend behind.
If I Stay also stars Mireille Enos, Joshua Leonard, Liana Liberato, Aisha Hinds and Stacy Keach.
According to the LA Times, Cutler previously said of the film:
“This is unlike anything I think you’ve ever seen [Moretz] do.
“She will capture your heart and break it in the same moment.”
If I Stay hits screens on August 22.
