Marvel has released the highly popular dancing Groot clip from their smash space opera ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.
Director James Gunn said the clip with Groot groovin’ to the Jackson 5 was suppose to be used as the closing tag.
“It was initially written as a tag for the very end of the film,” said Gunn. “But after we shot it, it worked so well I wanted to put it at the actual end of the film so none of the audience would miss it.”
‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ is in theaters now and has currently grossed $176 million at the box office domestically after 10 days. It currently sits as the 10th highest grossing movie of the year with a sequel on the way in 2017.
