On Tuesday, Morris Claiborne was demoted to second string behind Orlando Scandrick and then commenced to storm out of the Cowboys’ facility.
Dallas moved up to number 6 in 2012’s draft to pick up the LSU phenom Claiborne. Earlier in the week owner Jerry Jones commented,
“Is he what we had hoped for at this point when we drafted him with the 6th overall pick, giving up the (second round) pick to go up to the sixth pick to get him? No.”
Claiborne had a famously low score on his Wonderlic, and some question his ability to even compete at the professional level.
Fortunately, he was present at today’s practice, and it will be interesting to see how Dallas handles the newfound drama in Jerry World.
