Moneybagg Yo has jumped out with an early contender for best video of the year. The Memphis native has delivered the “Time Today” video and it did not disappoint. While adjusting to dealing with rumors and the scrutiny of fame, he finds himself being harassed by reporters, cameras and tabloids. However, he finds a way to joke his way through it by spoofing shows like Girlfriends throughout the video.
“I just looked at my wrist, I got time today/F*ck it, I’m crossin’ the line today/The hate be so real, the love be fake/Be bumpin’ they gums and bumpin’ my tape,” he raps.
“I don’t like niggas, I don’t like b*tches/I don’t like nobody /We can get gangsta, we can keep it cordial/How you wanna go ’bout it?/I don’t backtrack, man, fuck that, I don’t miss nobody/Left it on seen, I ain’t write back, I don’t trust nobody.”
