Charlotte, North Carolina emcee Royal-Tee teamed up with DJ Skillz for his highly anticipated project Voice Of Reason.
We started working on this Project in 2008. After releasing my album ALUMNI, I Met DJ Skillz at The Charlotte Convention Center (CIAA Weekend) after my performance. We spoke about working on a project together, then we got in the studio and made it happen. A lot of the songs didn’t make the cut, LOL. I remember hitting the studio in Atlanta GA, long nights in the lab with Ill Genius (producer), knocking out 6 Freestyles a day. The sad part is only 2 of them made the cut for the project (“Paid in Full” & “Where i’m from”). I was soul searching for a different sound. After I released the Alumni album received I great feedback, but it was so many Highs & Lows… Thanks for the Support – Royal-Tee
