Akon’s new mixtape wasn’t scheduled to be released until July. However, for one reason or another, we have it for you today! Akon dropped his last album “Freedom” all the way back in 2008. Since then, the man who once held the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously (the first solo artist to ever do so) hasn’t been quite as active. Despite his recent endeavors in the House genre with songs such as the recently released “America’s Most Wanted“, this new project is purely Hip-Hop and a bit of R&B.
