Paramount Studios has announced that ‘Mission: Impossible 5’ will be released on Christmas Day 2015.
Tom Cruise will reprise his role as American spy Ethan Hunt. Paula Patton, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner are rumored to return as well.
JJ Abrams is set to produce the project. The film comes one week after Abrams other highly anticipated sequel ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’.
The previous film in the franchise, ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ took in $700 million worldwide back in 2011.
