For Mila J, it’s simple. It’s officially go time. Throughout the course of 2015, Mila has found herself dropping a wide variety of music for long-time fans and new fans to consume and enjoy. From her collaborative and experimental Press Start EP with BC Kingdom that dropped in the first half of the year, to her more hard-hitting body of work of her own, The Waiting Game, it’s evident that Mila J is focused and is ready to unleash official material from her new studio album in 2016. Next up, to go along with her recent slew of putting her own touch on recent 2015 hits, Mila J hops on J. Cole’s ‘No Role Modelz’ with an interesting twist. Putting her own spin on Mary J. Blige’s classic R&B hit, ‘Real Love,’ Mila finds herself dripping in swag as her raspy tone shines throughout the record. Taking no prisoners and having no time for the nonsense, Mila puts an unlucky guy on blast and shows just what is being missed out on. If anything has been shown over these past few weeks from the singer, Mila J is much more determined than ever as she’s remained more than consistent in the onslaught of material she has put out for the world. Without a doubt, her new album will be one to look out for in 2016. Listen to ‘Real Love,’ below.
