When you reach a certain age, you take what you can get. It’s a fact of life that at one point, everyone hits their decline. Whether it be with work or even in your personal life, there are ups and downs in everyone’s life.
Mike Miller is currently on one of those downs with his professional playing career. He’s not as effective as he once was but luckily for him, he has the option to continue to make his life better. A player option in fact, one he will exercise to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers next season.
Following from Shams Charania of Real GM.
Cleveland's Mike Miller has opted into his $2.8M deal for 2015-16, league source tells RealGM.

Mike Miller followed LeBron James to the Cavs last summer, along with James Jones. He had his moments of shine but nothing like he had in his previous stints with the King.
Miller’s career is at the end and he knows it. So why not opt in for money that is guaranteed for you to make to just show up and do what you’ve been doing for your whole life. Play basketball.
It’s a little different now because Miller might just make that money riding the bench for the Cavs.
