The Chicago Bulls received some bad news on the injury front on Thursday.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Bulls’ forward Mike Dunleavy has suffered a setback in his rehab from back injury. The setback will reportedly keep Dunleavy out another 4-6 weeks before he can return to basketball activities. The small forward has yet to play this season after undergoing back microdiscectomy surgery late in teh offseason.
Dunleavy’s continued absence is a big blow to the Bulls. He provides them with much-needed shooting while also playing good defense at multiple positions. For now, Chicago will have to make do with a slew of other players at the small forward position.
