New York’s own Mike Classic has dropped a new project called If Only You Knew. The project comes on the heels of his well received single, “Woosah”. Cosigned by Bryson Tiller and over one million listeners on Soundcloud, the single laid the groundwork for the musician’s seven track project. Complete with production from Kaui, Music Hustle and The Breed, the new project effortlessly fuses Hip-Hop, R&B and Soul.
The project is led by the previously released single, “Mixin”. On the record, Mike Classic raps and sings about that special someone that has caught his eye. On the song, Mike Classic raps, “She’s a grinder. She’s a hustler. She can do it all.” Other records like “What A Feelin'” showcase the New York artist’s rapping ability. Mike Classic raps, “Watch me get my bag on. I’m Jeezy with my trap on. I’m 50 with my gat on.”
Outside of music, Mike Classic is making moves as well. The rising musician made an appearance in the Netflix biopic, Roxanne Roxanne, which chronicles the life of Roxanne Shante.
