Sometimes as fans, people get overly invested into certain sports games and this is certainly true for the playoffs. In fact, one super fan in particular has begun to make an impact on the Eastern Conference Finals with his sideline antics and Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer isn’t a supporter of his involvement.
Popular Toronto rapper and well-known Raptors fan Drake has been visibly animated during many of the Raptors’ home games this series and his antics peaked during a Game 4 victory to even the series.

Drake was also seen visibly bickering with the Milwaukee Bucks’ players and their bench along with walking on the court multiple times. Following the game, Budenholzer didn’t hold back with his criticism of Drake and his behavior.
“I will say, again, I see it in some timeouts, but I don’t know of any person that’s attending the game that isn’t a participant in the game, a coach — I’m sorry, a player or a coach, that has access to the court,” Budenholzer told ESPN. “I don’t know how much he’s on the court. It sounds like you guys are saying it’s more than I realize. There’s certainly no place for fans and, you know, whatever it is exactly that Drake is for the Toronto Raptors. You know, to be on the court, there’s boundaries and lines for a reason, and like I said, the league is usually pretty good at being on top of stuff like that.”
Mike Budenholzer wasn’t the only part related to the Bucks that was upset by Drake’s sideline antics. In a since-deleted tweet, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s agent Georgios Dimitropoulos also added his two cents.
Imagine a gig & an athlete on VIP seats, right next to the band, stands up on the stage just to show off during the entire game, knowing cameras are on him, occasionally even massaging the singer. Security&him both allow it. Never seen anything as disrespectful as this before…
