In an industry that can be very competitive, some may forget that artists of various genres often find themselves sitting in the seat as a fan of others. This holds true for the Wildheart singer, Miguel, who has most recently displayed how much a fan he is of a certain Barbados-born Pop star. Via SxSW, Miguel took to the stage last week and performed a cover of Rihanna’s ANTI fan-favorite, ‘Kiss It Better.’ Doing the record justice, many came to the conclusion that the tune would have definitely fit the singer’s style perfectly if he originally recorded it for himself. Met with overwhelming demand and support, it appears Miguel has gifted us with the next best option and has hopped in the studio and remixed the tune. Taking to Instagram, the singer dropped of a preview that hears him harmonizing and singing along Rihanna on the guitar-driven record.
If there was ever a sense of urgency, this is definitely the case as many will be begging for the record’s immediate release. Hopefully seeing the light of day very soon, we can’t wait to hear just how Miguel put his signature touch on the record.
