Migos has been on top of the world lately. After landing air time on shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and having a #1 single, the Atlanta trio is still on top. Earlier today, Migos sat down with Cari Champion on ESPN’s Sportscenter.
During the interview, the group broke down the origin of the popular dance, “The Dab.” The dance that blew up like wildfire, had athletes like Lebron James and Cam Newton hitting it. “At first, it used to be called ‘Ugh!’ But then, we used to be real fresh and everybody be like ‘Look at my Dab. Look at my Dab,” said Quavo. “We just needed something to break the stage.”
When they realized the whole world was dabbing, the trio knew they had something on their hands. When Champion asked about their work ethic, Offset added,”You gotta stay up. You gotta grind. You gotta stay consistent.”
