
The ‘Avatar’ sequel is finally rounding out its cast. ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ actress Michelle Yeoh has been cast in James Cameron’s long-awaited ‘Avatar’ sequel.
“Throughout her career, Michelle has always created unique and memorable characters,” Cameron said. “I look forward to working with Michelle to do the same thing on the ‘Avatar’ sequels.”
Cameron has big plans for the world of Pandora. He’s planned 4 sequels to the original film which released in 2009 and broke records throughout world, both in the box-office and its cinematic quality at the time.
Yeoh plays a key role in ‘Stark Trek: Discovery’ series with two films planned for this year in ‘Boss Level’, and ‘Last Christmas’. Now, she has to add 4 avatar films to her docket, as well.
